All Snow Aurora kits are manufactured from high-grade, non-toxic ABS plastic. This ensures the bricks are durable, have a high-gloss finish, and provide a satisfying “click” during assembly.
Do the kits come with instructions?
Yes, every kit includes a comprehensive, full-colour printed manual with step-by-step visual instructions to guide you from start to finish.
What is the difference between Micro-Blocks and Standard Blocks?
Standard blocks are the traditional size compatible with most brands. Micro-blocks are smaller, allowing for much higher detail in miniature sets like our “Street Food” or “Small Succulent” series. Please check the product description for specific block sizes.
What age group are these building blocks for?
Our kits are designed for ages 6 and up. However, many of our complex automotive and botanical sets are specifically curated for adult hobbyists (AFOLs) looking for a mindful DIY project.
How do I clean my display models?
To keep your models looking fresh, we recommend using a soft-bristled paintbrush or canned air to remove dust. For deeper cleans, a damp cloth with mild soap works perfectly on ABS plastic.
What happens if my order is missing a piece?
We stand by our products with a Missing Piece Guarantee. In the rare event that a building block set is incomplete, simply email us with your order number and a photo of the manual page, and we will ship the replacement parts to you at no extra cost. If you prefer, you can choose a replacement set or a full refund instead.

What payment methods do you accept in South Africa?
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and Instant EFT through PayFast, a secure, encrypted South African payment gateway.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes. At checkout, click “Have a coupon? Click here to enter your code”, enter your code and apply it before you place your order. Our WELCOME10 newsletter code can only be used when you are logged in to your Snow Aurora account, and it does not apply to sale items or delivery.
Is my personal information secure?
Absolutely. Our website uses SSL encryption to protect your data, and we never store your credit card information on our servers.
Do I have to pay import tax or duties?
No. Snow Aurora is a South African online shop. Our warehouses are based in KZN where we stock and ship your packages.
Shipping & Delivery
Where does Snow Aurora ship to?
We provide nationwide shipping across all provinces in South Africa, including Gauteng, Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, and more.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery anywhere in South Africa costs a flat R120. Orders of R700 or more are delivered free. The delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
How long does shipping take?
Orders within Gauteng typically arrive in 2–3 business days. For the rest of South Africa, please allow 3–5 business days for your hobby kit to arrive.
How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, we will email you a tracking number and a link to our courier partner’s portal so you can monitor your delivery in real-time.
Does Snow Aurora use "Drop-shipping"?
No, Snow Aurora is not a drop-shipper. We curate, quality-check, and stock our DIY building block kits in our own local facility. When you buy from us, your product is packed by our team and shipped directly from within South Africa.
Returns & Customer Support
What is your return policy?
You can change your mind and cancel within 7 days of receiving your order, even if you have opened the box. As a goodwill gesture, we also accept unopened, sealed items for up to 14 days after delivery. Faulty items and missing pieces are covered for 6 months. What if my kit is missing a piece?
While our quality control is strict, if you find a missing part, simply email orders@snowaurora.co.za with your order number and a photo of the manual page, and we will send the replacement part to you. If you prefer, you can choose a replacement set or a full refund instead.
